Nichols Cars - N1A Price: POA

The new Nichols N1A is a stunning piece of sculpture which brings the design language of the very first McLaren, the M1A, right up to date. Not a single panel is the same. The N1A has a significantly more aggressive stance from its ground stroking nose to its abrupt and purposeful tail. It is also wider, longer and roomier.
Underneath the skin the N1A is thoroughly modern featuring a bonded extruded aluminium and carbon fibre chassis. Suspension features classic wishbones all round. Power steering and traction control are available. Wheels and tyres are 19” clad with 245 section rubber on the front and 20” 305 section on the rear.
Power is from a 6.2 litre V8 engine available in various stages of tune and outputs which start at 455 bhp. Drive to the rear wheels is via a 6-speed Graziano transmission with a beautifully weighted manual shift topped by a gear knob inspired by Ayrton Senna’s 1989 Monaco Grand Prix winning car.
Seated at the wheel the driver is met with a stunning instrument cluster, machined from a solid billet of aluminium, housing traditional dials. The seat is trimmed by the same people who provide the interiors for McLaren’s F1 cars and one-off vehicles for the road car division. For a little extra the customer can be fitted for their own bespoke seat, hand made by the same people who make the seats for half the current F1 grid.
The chassis is produced in aluminium and carbon fibre by arguably the leading exponents in the field; the ultimate in lightweight construction. Engines are assembled by a company who regularly build winning units for historic F1 including Cosworth V8’s and V10’s. Trim is by skilled craftsmen in a multitude of materials with the ability to tailor each car to an owner’s specific requirements and taste.
The opportunities for owners to specify cars to their individual requirements and taste are almost limitless, ranging from the choosing of materials to the chance to design their own unique livery.
